Campground Amenities

• BOOK EXCHANGE - We offer our guests an opportunity to participate in a book exchange. This is located in both laundry rooms. Feel free to come take a book or leave books.
• FISHING - Fishing is wonderful on Lake Gaston. People have been known to catch bass, catfish, brim, pike, gar, walleye, crappie, and many others. A fishing license is required to fish on this lake. Fishing is allowed off our large pier and the shoreline. Please stay off of private docks. We sell night crawlers & chicken livers with a variety of other fishing tackle, along with children's rods in the store.
• FOOD - On weekends we serve hot pizza, hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos & popcorn in our store.
• CONVENIENCE STORE - We have a large selection of groceries, picnic supplies, ice, cold drinks, hand dipped ice cream, RV supplies, gifts, pool supplies, firewood & propane, frozen foods, toys.
• COFFEE - Come enjoy a cup of coffee on us...available in the store everyday from 8am till 10am.
• LAUNDRY - Laundry facilities are located directly behind each bath house. The washers & dryers each take $1.00. Change is provided in store. The laundry rooms are open 24 hours.
• BOATS - Pontoon boats are available for rent at Holly Grove Marina-434-636-3455 and Lake Gaston Water Sports-434-636-2175. Please be advised we do not have docks available for rent. You may tie up to the shoreline located near the swimming pool.
• SPORTS - We have horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball & badminton areas. Equipment is available for our guests at the store.
• SWIMMING POOL - We have a beautiful swimming pool available. Children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision, and food, drinks or smoking is not allowed in the pool area. We have sunscreen, goggles, earplugs & floats available for sale in the store.
• PUTT PUTT - Located near the pool, cost is $2.00 per person. Clubs, balls & score cards available in store. Putt Putt is open during store hours only.
• FIREWOOD - Available for sale in store for $4.50 a bundle.
• PROPANE - We offer propane tank exchange and propane refill. See store for prices.
• RESTAURANTS - There are a variety of restaurants around the lake. The Mayflower, Huddle House, Toppers Pizza, The Lake House, Andys, Watersview & 903 Grill at Eatons Ferry. Ask for directions in the store.
• LOCAL ATTRACTIONS - Not many...we have Rosemont Vineyards which offers wine tasting and Serendipity Spa. Both are located nearby. See store for brochures and directions. Also, not too far is Country Crossroads where they host big name concerts.
